La invasión rusa de Ucrania pone la ampliación como prioridad. Para poder hacerlo, la Unión Europea ha de adaptar sus estructuras institucionales y políticas a este gran desafío. Ampliación y preparación de la UE son dos procesos que han de avanzar en paralelo. En este trabajo analizamos los trabajos de las instituciones para adaptar la UE, constatando que nos encontramos aún en una fase inicial del debate que habrá de desarrollarse en los próximos años y que coincide con una profunda reestructuración de la propia UE. The Russian invasion of Ukraine puts enlargement as a priority. In order to do so, the European Union has to adapt its institutional and political structures to this major challenge. Enlargement and EU preparedness are two processes that have to move forward in parallel. In this study, we analyze the work of the institutions in adapting the EU, noting that we are still at an early stage of the debate that is still the initial phase of the debate that will have to take place in the coming years.
